    Description

    Effective June 15, 1931, American Airlines’ Contract Air Mail Route 20 was extended from Nashville, Tennessee to Fort Worth, Texas via the intermediate points of Memphis, Tennessee, Little Rock, Arkansas, Texarkana, Arkansas-Texas, and Dallas, Texas, in order that a shorter and more direct air route might be provided between the Northeast and Southwest. Official first flight cachets were furnished all points not previously serviced by this route.
