  • Condition: Rod pole components are in great condition. The handle shows a little more wear then the other pieces but they all look like new. The canvas bag is in good to fair condition as well , but has some wear at the ends of the pole pockets and one pole is visible.

    Description

    I purchased this Carter & Co. English Fly fishing rod on Ebay about 11 years ago. I never used it for fishing but rather as a collectable and for display. I don't know, nor could I find any information on the age, but would guess early 1900's. to 1930's.
    As seen in the pictures it is a 6 piece set with the last two extensions being a different length. The varnish and eyelet connections all look like new.
    The handle looks a little more worn, but in overall great shape. The bag is all intact, but does have a couple of holes at the ends of the pole pockets, and one pocket has a tear on the side. You can see the pole extension sticking out in the photo.
    Bag is about 26" long.
