Authentic 1949 DETROIT TIGERS game used game worn pants HAL NEWHOUSER Spalding HOFer
Hal Newhouser spent 16 years in Major League Baseball, 14 of those years with the Detroit Tigers.  He was an integral part of the 1945 World Series Championship team, winning the Pitcher's Triple Crown (Wins, ERA, and Strikeouts).  He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1992.
The pants are in excellent condition (no rips, tears, or fraying) and do show evidence of wear.  There are stains/discolorations on the pants, particularly on the butt, where you would expect to see wear from sitting on the bench.  Also note that the pictures show the pants to be a white-ish color.  They are definitely more yellowed than the pictures show, as you would expect after 70 years.  If you want more pictures, I can try to take some in a different light.
The appropriate tagging exists inside the waist band.  It has an embroidered tag with "H. Newhouser 49", along with the appropriate size tag and Spalding manufacturer tag.
I purchased these pants from Lelands Auction House, through their eBay auction account.  I've attached a screenshot of that, to prove their provenance.  Lelands is a well-known and well-respected auction house.  But since it was sold through their eBay auction, rather than their traditional auction, it did not come with a COA.  Therefore, I have no COA to provide.  And I am pricing them to reflect that.
At the very least, they are game-issued.  I had to make a decision whether or not I believed them to be game worn.  Alot of
my decision rested on the fact that they came from Lelands.  I do believe them to be game worn, but you
'll have to make the same choice for yourself.
