Gabe Holt 2018 Bourne Braves Game Used & Signed Axis Pro Certified EK-TECH AX271 Maple Baseball Bat
Gabe Holt is an infielder in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. Holt was the 223rd player selected in the 2019 MLB amateur draft. He went undrafted following the conclusion of a stellar high school with the Warhawks and under former Veterans head baseball coach David Coffey. The four-year letterman was named 2017 All-Region Player of the Year, Houston County Player of the Year and First Team All-State. He was also a three-time Region Champion his freshman, sophomore, and senior season. Holt hit .457 in addition to eight homeruns, 29 stolen bases, and 27 RBI senior year.
In his freshman season at Texas Tech, Holt started all 65 games making 47 at second base before transitioning to right field the final 14 games. He recorded the most at-bats ever by a Texas Tech second baseman in a season with 270 and also had the second-most hits by a Tech second baseman with 94. Holt also led the team in stolen bases with 29, the most stolen bases by a Red Raider since Brett Bell’s 31 in 2013. The speedster also scored 11 runs during the postseason, the most ever by a Red Raider during NCAA Tournament play. He hit leadoff the entire season and propelled the Red Raiders to a 45-20 overall record, including their third-straight national seed of No. 9 and a trip to the College World Series.
In 2019, Holt started all 60 games in which he appeared as the primary right fielder and leadoff hitter and hit .318 for the year with a .409 on base percentage. He notched 83 hits to finish second in the Big 12 and led the Big 12 with 28 stolen bases on 31 attempts and scored 30 times. He was also among the league leaders with 53 runs scored while adding 15 doubles, three triples and three home runs. He ended his Texas Tech career as one of the top leadoff hitters in program history as he reached base safely in 118-of-125 career games, including 57-of-60 in 2019. Holt also hit safely in 104-of-124 career games including 48-of-60 in 2019 while compiling streaks of 32, 31 and 29 games where he reached base safely during his career. Holt's 32-game streak was the longest by a Red Raider since Tyler Neslony’s 37 games in 2014. He also became the first Red Raider since Cameron Blair in 2004 to record a 20-game hitting streak as he closed 2018 on a 17-game hitting streak before adding to that in the first three games of 2019.
On August 25th, 2019 Holt was assigned to the Brewers Gold, the Rookie affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. They are a minor league baseball team of the Arizona League and participate in the Central Division. They are located in Phoenix, Arizona. Holt played in 2 games and collected 3 hits on 6 at-bats including his 1st hit on Sunday August 25th, 2019. After spending the prior two months rehabbing from thumb surgery, the seventh-round pick started at second base and batted fifth in the lineup. Holt walked in his first at bat then picked up his first base hit in the third inning with a single to right field. He finished 1-for-2 with a walk in the Brewers 3-1 loss against the Angels.
On August 27th, 2019 Holt was assigned to the Rocky Mountain Vibes from AZL Brewers Gold. The Rocky Mountain Vibes are a Minor League Baseball team that began play as a member of the Pioneer League in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in 2019 as the rookie affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.
Holt played 11 games at the rookie-ball level in his first professional season, slashing .263/.317/.447 across 41 plate appearances.
The Brewers added Holt to their 60-man roster pool at their
    alternate training site in Appleton
    on September 2nd, 2020.
