Wonderful Hawaiian Koa wood platter dish signed by the woodworker Lee Rogers. Oval shallow bowl form on lightly figured koa wood, with a flat bevel edge. Don't know too much about Lee Rogers but have heard he has produced out of
Honolulu and his work has been shown at the De Young Museum in San Francisco along with other venues. This koa piece is a little less vibrant and curly figured than some of his other pieces we've seen - we've taken some photos in bright sunlight and normal indoor light to try show what it looks like. Marked on the back with "Lee Rogers Koa".
Condition:
In good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some light wear and scratches, a few areas of lighter finish - there is an area of deeper scratches (see last photo). Could probably be taken out, and the piece completely re-finished but we've decided not to leave that to the buyer. We only put a very light coat of wax on it.

~ Returns ~
Returns are only accepted within FOURTEEN (14) days of receipt of item. Money back on returns only, and you are responsible for ALL return shipping. Item must be in the original condition it was when received, and must include ALL parts (tags, boxes, papers, etc.).
If the item description was grossly inaccurate or different from the actual item, we will offer to refund the full price of item plus shipping. No returns for buyer's remorse.
