One of a Kind Game Used Yankee Stadium Main Field Pitching RubberBoldly Signed by Mariano Rivera with 12 inscriptions!
On June 28, 2009 the great Mariano Rivera recorded his 500th career save vs. the N.Y. Mets at Citi Field.
In recogniztion of his 500th save, the NY Yankees had Rivera do something rarely seen (if ever) in MLB - In a sight rarely seen in baseball, an
active player throw out the Ceremonial 1st Pitch.
This was the pitching rubber used for the rare event. In addition to throwing out the Ceremonial 1st pitch, Rivera went on to record saves, 501, 502 & 503 on this Rubber!
Mariano Rivera Signed this Yankee Stadium Game Used Main Field Pitching Rubber.
The pitching rubber is a game used main field pitching rubber that was used in Yankee Stadium from 6/30/09 thru 7/06/09. Obtained directly from Steiner Sports in 2009.
It will have an accompanying letter of authenticity from MLB and Steiner Sports.
The pitching rubber filled with concrete weighing approximately 56 pounds.
The signature has not been graded, however I’ve seen Rivera 10 and this sure looks like a 10!
Do not miss this opportunity to own a piece of history.
