On Sunday, May 12, 2019, the New York Yankees visited the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field. The Rays were decked out in pink to commemorate Mother’s Day. Blake Snell started for the Rays. He would strikeout 12 in the game including, Luke Voit, Gio Urshela (thrice), Clint Frazier (twice), Miguel Andujar (twice), Cameron Maybin, Thairo Estrada (thrice), and Mike Tauchman. Anthony Benboom made his MLB debut in the game, and Austin Meadows, Tommy Pham, Ji-Man Choi, Yandy Diaz, and Avisail Garcia all had hits for the Rays. (Kevin Kiermaier went hitless.) The Yankees won 7-1, pouring on four runs in the top of the 9th after the lights went out in the Trop. You are buying the Mother’s Day commemorative cap issued to Matt Duffy. The cap has a pink bill and lettering. It is MLB Authenticated and has number 5 (Duffy’s number) written in sharpie on the inside. Duffy did not play in the game. The caps is size 7 1/8.
