Vintage Montague 9 Foot Bamboo Fly Fishing Rod USA
For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this vintage split bamboo fly fishing rod.  It is a 9 foot three piece rod.  The butt, grip, and ferrules and reel seat are all good and are original.  There are no markings on the rod at all but based on the hardware, grip, and bamboo we think it is an early Montague rod.  It has two of the red ceramic lined eyes collectors call ruby eyes...the first eye and the tip top eye.
Condition is used and each of the first two sections is of equal  length.  The top section is two inches shorter.  Just above the ferrule on the top section the bamboo is damaged an will need to be repaired of the top section replaced. It was designed to be a 6 weight rod.  It has the original ferrules which are in good condition.  There are at least three eyes and their wraps missing on the rod
